Police Blotter December 9th through December 11th

December 9th

Auto Theft - 6400 block of Portola Dr:
At 0907 hours, an officer responded to the report of a stolen white 2000 Toyota Sienna. The van was stolen in between 2200 hours on 12/08/2016 and 0800 hours on 12/09/2016.

Warrant Arrest - 5920 Cutting Blvd:
At 1211 hours, an officer investigated a disabled parking / registration violation in the Jack in the Box parking lot. The person responsible for the vehicle, a 26 year old Richmond man was wanted on a No Bail warrant. He was arrested, booked and transported to the MDF.

Vehicle Pursuit – Stolen Vehicle - San Pablo Ave./ Potrero Ave:
At 1408 hours, an officer spotted a stolen Honda Accord. The driver of the Honda fled and lead the officer on a brief pursuit which the officer cancelled due to the reckless nature of the driver. The suspect drove the vehicle to Julian Court where he abandoned the vehicle and fled into the yards. A keen citizen called 911 to report the incident. A perimeter was set and a 51 year old from San Francisco was located nearby and arrested. He was booked and transported to the County jail in Martinez.

Warrant – San Pablo Ave / MacDonald Ave:
At 0118 hours, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 35 year old woman from Richmond on a no bail Contra Costa County Warrant. She was booked at the ECPD and transported to county jail.

Warrant – San Pablo Ave / Knott Ave:
At 0129 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 32 year old man from Richmond on a no bail Contra Costa County Warrant. He was booked at the ECPD and transported to county jail.

December 10th

Auto Burglary - 11344 San Pablo Ave:
At 0928 hours, an officer responded to the report of an auto burglary. An unknown suspect smashed the window of an SUV and stole $5,120 worth of laptop computers in between 0840 and 0928 hours.

Felon in Possession of Ammo – Controlled substance - 11299 San Pablo Avenue:
At 1027 hours, officers responded the report of a subject trying to sell ammo to passersby. A twenty six year old Richmond man was contacted. He was found in possession of a boxes of 223, 308, 45 mm and 9 mm ammunition. He was also in possession of loaded syringe of methamphetamine. He was booked and transported to the MDF.

Warrant – San Pablo Ave / Carlson Blvd:
At 2037 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 35 year old Richmond man on a Contra Costa County warrant. He was booked at the ECPD and then released on a citation.

DUI Arrest, Warrant – Central Ave / Carlson Blvd:
At 0147 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the 23 year old male driver from El Cerrito for DUI. A 22 year old male passenger from Albany was also arrested on a no cite warrant from Clearlake PD. Both were booked at the ECPD. The 23 year old was released on a citation while the 22 year old was transported to Martinez Detention Facility on the warrant.

December 11th

Auto Theft – 2000 block of Key Blvd:
An unknown suspect stole the victims red 1986 Nissan pickup. The theft occurred sometime between 12-10-16 at 1300 hours to 12-11-16 at 0900 hours.

Grand Theft – Cricket Wireless 11299 San Pablo Ave:
At 1259 hours an unknown female suspect entered the store and ripped two IPhone 7’s from the display counter. The female exited the store and got into a white 4-door Hyundai driven by an unknown white male. The vehicle fled the area westbound on Potrero Ave.

Suspect number one is described as an unknown race female, 5’4”, 130lbs., wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Suspect number two is described as a white male adult in his 30’s, 5’10”, 180lbs., wearing a grey sweatshirt and light colored jeans.

Residential Burglary – 1500 block Lexington Ave:
Sometime between 1130 and 1430 hours, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked garage and stole a mountain bike.

DUI Arrest, Driving while Suspended Hit and Run – San Pablo Ave / Carlson Blvd:
At 2205 hours, Officers responded to a solo vehicle collision. A 24 year old male from Oakland was attempting to flee the scene as officers arrived. He was detained and identified as the driver by witnesses. He had been drinking at the Blue Moon and intoxicated and was arrested for DUI. A record check revealed he was also driving on a suspended license. He was booked at the ECPD and then transported to county jail due to his level of intoxication.
