ATTENTION MONROE-WOODBURY COMMUNITY

The Monroe Police Department is hosting a drug forum on Tuesday December 13th from 6:00pm-9:00pm at the Monroe -Woodbury High School Auditorium. We encourage everyone to attend this very informational forum, especially Parents, Teachers, Students and everyone else in the community.

So many people are or have been affected by drug addiction and enforcement efforts are not enough. We have realized that education, prevention and treatment are key components to fight the drug epidemic. While Heroin is our main focus, Alcohol, Pills, Marijuana and Cocaine are also part of the drug addiction forum.

We will have informational tables set up and a question and answer period as well as speakers from the following organizations:
Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Council of Orange County, Catholic Charities of Orange County, Narcotics Anonymous, Alcoholics Anonymous, Detox centers, and Treatment facilities. Our guest speakers include recovering addicts, and parents who lost their child to a drug overdose.
