In the upcoming weeks the New York State Department of Transportation, in conjunction with the Westchester County DOT, will be starting repairs to the bridge over the northbound lanes of the Bronx River Parkway Access Road.  In order to facilitate these repairs, NYSDOT is placing barriers and traffic control signs to close lanes on NY Route 22 in the area between the BRP Access Road and Hillandale Avenue in North White Plains.  The barriers and signs will remain in place until the repairs to the bridge are completed.  Currently, there is no estimate as to when these repairs will be completed.

The repair work will also require the closure of the Bronx River Parkway Access Road at some point in the future.  Once we are provided a timeframe for this additional closure, we will send out this information as well.

We encourage motorists to use caution when traveling through this area and to use alternate routes when practical. Please abide by the traffic control signs and traffic direction efforts.  We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
