Police Blotter November 25th through November 27th

November 25th

Warrant – San Pablo Ave./Central Ave:
At 0838 hours, an officer recognized a 28 year old man who was wanted on misdemeanor ECPD warrant. He was arrested, booked and released on a citation.

Shoplift – Safeway, 11450 San Pablo Ave:
At 1119 hours, an officer was flagged down about a shoplifter. A 34 years old transient female stole a sandwich and a bag of chips. She was located at the Denny’s lot. She was placed under citizen’s arrest and field cited. She also had a misdemeanor traffic warrant from Culver City PD which she was field cited for as well.

Petty theft – 6700 block Hagen Blvd:
At 1455 hours, an officer responded to the report of a package thief. The suspect, an HMA, 25-30 years old, black beanie cap and sweatshirt, stole a package and fled in a 2002 gold Lexus which is registered in Sonoma.

Warrant, Public Intoxication – Chase, 9950 San Pablo Ave:
At 1848 hours, an officer responded to an unwanted subject and contacted a 46 year old man from Kensington. He was heavily intoxicated and wanted on a Berkeley Warrant for public intoxication. He was arrested, booked, and transported to MDF.

Grand Theft – Walgreen, 11565 San Pablo Ave:
At 2012 hours, Suspect-1 and Suspect-2 entered Walgreens with a black suitcase on rollers. The manager immediately recognized the suspects from previous thefts in El Cerrito and San Pablo and called police. The suspects filled the bag with $953 worth of cosmetic items and left in an unknown direction. Suspect-1 was described as a black male, early 20s, 6-02, 180, short dreadlock hair, wearing a white hooded jacket and blue jeans. Suspect-2 was a black male, mid 20s, 5-10, 260, black goatee, wearing a blue hood jacket and blue jeans.

Failure to Comply – Eastbound I-80 / San Pablo Ave:
At 0059 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a black Acura with no plates occupied by two men. The Acura fled the stop as the officer got out of his vehicle and prepared to approach the Acura. A pursuit was not initiated.

November 26th

Shoplift, Vandalism – Dollar Store, 11555 San Pablo Ave:
At 0922 hours, officers responded to the report of a three female juvenile suspects stealing at the Dollar Store. A 14 year old female from Richmond was located at S. 49th St and Castillo St. She apparently was accused of stealing at the store and subsequently went on a rampage inside the store destroying merchandise. Meanwhile her associate, Suspect-1, a 17 year old black male juvenile stole merchandise. She was also with two other unknown female juveniles who apparently left with suspect-1. She was placed under citizen’s arrest by the store manager and released to her mother on a Juvenile Affidavit.

Petty Theft – Safeway, 11450 San Pablo Ave:
At 1113 hours, Officers responded to the report of a woman stealing from a customer’s purse. A 35 year old female from Richmond was detained at the door. She was placed under citizen’s arrest, booked, and cited.

Public Intoxication – Grand Barbershop, 10054 San Pablo Ave:
At 1302 hours, an officer responded to the report of a subject passed out blocking the doorway of the Grand Barbershop. A 46 year old man was found heavily intoxicated. He was unable to walk and was transported to Kaiser Richmond.

Robbery – Walgreens, 11565 San Pablo Ave:
At 1422 hours, an officer responded to the report of a robbery. The suspect removed a pair of scissors from the shelf and used them to start cutting the security tags from his shoes which he apparently stole from a different location. When confronted by the manager, the suspect threatened him and fled out the front door. He was described as a black male, 20’s, 6’01”, 175 lbs, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, new black suede shoes and a Spiderman backpack.

Violation of a Court Order – 600 block Bonnie Dr:
At 1635 hours, Officers responded to the report of 59 year old female sitting in a car outside the residence and in violation of a court order prohibiting her from being within 100 yards of the residence. She was arrested, booked at the ECPD, and transported to the MDF.

Public Intoxication – Safeway, 11450 San Pablo Ave:
At 1834 hours, an officer responded to an unwanted subject and contacted a 25 year old Richmond man who was heavily intoxicated. He was arrested, booked at the ECPD, and transported to MDF.

Strongarm Robbery – Mechanics Bank, 9996 San Pablo Ave:
At 2147 hours, the victim withdrew money from the ATM and got back into her vehicle. The suspect approached the victim in her vehicle and demanded money. The suspect then grabbed the money the victim just withdrew from the ATM. The suspect was described as a black male in his 30s, 5-04, medium build, and wearing a dark blue jacket, baseball hat, and black pants.

DUI – Fairmount Ave / Liberty St:
At 0213 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 44 year old Richmond female for DUI. She was booked and released on a citation.

November 27th

Stolen Vehicle Recovery – 1600 block Everett St:
At 0716 hours, an officer responded to a suspicious vehicle and determined the 2006 Chevy truck reported as stolen to the Pinole Police Department in September.

Warrant – Central Ave / San Joaquin St:
At 2351 hours, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 32 year old transient male on a no bail Contra Costa County warrant. He was booked at the ECPD and transported to MDF.

Residential Burglary – 6300 Block Conlon Ave:
At 0217 hours, an unknown suspect entered the residence via an unlocked rear window. The suspect was confronted by the resident and fled back out the window and then in an unknown direction. The suspect was described as a 30 to 40 year old male, 6-00, 180 pounds, and wearing dark clothing.
