Domestic Violence Arrest
(Etowah County, Alabama) A Gadsden man has been arrested in connection to domestic violence, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Joshua Eugene Bullard, 36, of Gadsden, was arrested and charged with one count of first degree domestic violence/suffocation, which is a felony, and interference with a domestic violence call, a misdemeanor,” investigator Brandi Fuller said.
Bullard allegedly beat a female victim and strangled her until she lost consciousness. He also took her phone and refused to leave the scene.
When deputies arrived at the residence they observed blood on Bullard’s shirt and pants. They also noticed the victim had marks around her neck and blood on her head.
Bullard was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center on a $20,000 cash bond for the domestic violence warrant and $500 for the interference with a domestic violence call.
