Update: Early Morning Fatal House Fire
(Etowah County, Alabama) An early morning house fire, that took the lives of three family members, is currently under investigation, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
The incident occurred this morning, November 24, at 2:57 a.m. in the Tidmore Bend community, at 35 Fambrough Drive, Gadsden, 35901.
The bodies of 74 year-old Arthur Wayne Fambrough, 60 year-old Katherine Fambrough and 40 year-old Jill Fambrough will be sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
While on patrol, Deputy Eric Johns discovered the fire at the residence. The home was heavily involved with fire at the time.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office and Etowah County Arson Task Force are working to determine how the fire started.
