Car/Ped Accident Closes Hartz Avenue at Linda Mesa 
UPDATE: As of 5:20pm, Hartz Avenue has been reopened to both directions of traffic following a car/pedestrian accident.
A car/pedestrian accident at the intersection of Hartz Avenue and Linda Mesa Avenue has resulted in the closure of Hartz in both directions.
The pedestrian has been transported to John Muir Medical Center for treatment for injuries. The road is expected to reopen around 5:15pm.
Motorists are advised to use Railroad Avenue as an alternate.
