10/29/16 at approximately 11:47 PM WTPD officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of Belvidere Ave in Washington Borough, NJ for a man experiencing a drug overdose. Upon the officer’s arrival, they located a 28 year old male who was unconscious and officers determined that the man was experiencing a drug overdose. The officer’s quickly administered the anti-opioid drug, Narcan. The man regained consciousness and was transported by the Washington Emergency Squad to St. Luke’s Hospital (Warren Campus) for treatment.

On Sunday 10/30/16 at 12:54 AM, WTPD officers were dispatched to a single motor vehicle / pedestrian accident in the 60 block of Youmans Ave in Washington Borough. As a result on the accident, the pedestrian suffered injuries and was transported by the Washington Emergency Squad to St. Luke’s Hospital (Warren). The driver, Ronda McCurdy, age 50, of Allentown, PA was charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), refusal to submit to a breath test and careless driving. The Washington Township police were assisted at the scene by the Washington Emergency Squad and the Hunterdon Paramedics.

11/02/16 WTPD arrested Lloyd Noel 3rd, age 47, of Washington NJ, for contempt of court order, obstruction of the administration of law and disorderly conduct. On 11/02/16 at approximately 8:37 AM, patrol responded to a dispute in the 40 block of Washington Square Circle in Washington Borough. Upon patrol’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Mr. Noel was located hiding in a closet and arrested without further incident. He was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

11/02/16 WTPD arrested Thomas Heinrich, age 30, of Oxford, NJ for a $100.00 warrant out of Oxford Township. He was processed and released after posting bail.

11/02/16 WTPD arrested William Zelesny, age 60, of Glen Gardner, NJ for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 11/02/16 at approximately 7:15 PM, patrol was conducting a routine patrol of the Changewater Fishing Access in Washington Township and located a suspicious vehicle. At that time, the officer located Mr. Zelesny, who was issued a local ordinance for maintaining a nuisance and issued a motor vehicle summons for an open container of an alcoholic beverage inside of a motor vehicle. He was released with a mandatory court date.

11/04/16 WTPD arrested Jon Overbaugh, age 29, of Washington, NJ for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 11/04/16 at approximately 1:58 AM, patrol observed a man yelling at passing cars in the area of 15 Belvidere Ave in Washington Borough. The officer’s investigation resulted in Mr. Overbaugh being charged with a local ordinance of maintain a nuisance. He was processed at the scene and released with a mandatory court date.

11/07/16 WTPD arrested Jeffrey Wydner, age 35, of Phillipsburg, NJ for a $250.00 outstanding warrant out of Union Township. On 11/07/16 at approximately 9:50 AM, patrol observed Mr. Wydner, who was known to have an outstanding warrant, walking on W. Warren St. in Washington Borough. The officer made contact with Mr. Wydner, confirmed the warrant and he was arrested without incident. Mr. Wydner was processed and released with a new court date.

11/07/16 WTPD arrested Lilisbet Acosta-Rivero, age 30, of Union City, NJ for a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of Sparta Township. On 11/07/16 at 1:58 PM WTPD officers were dispatched to a minor single vehicle accident without injuries on Belvidere Ave in Washington Borough. As a result of the accident, the driver, Ms. Acosta-Rivero, was found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest. She was taken into custody without incident. Ms Acosta-Rivero was processed, issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving and improper parking and turned over to Sparta PD.

11/10/16 WTPD arrested James McBurney, age 27, of Middletown, NJ for an outstanding $133.00 warrant out of South River Township.

On 11/10/16 at 8:32 AM, officers were dispatched to a minor motor vehicle accident in the 100 block of Jackson Valley Rd. in Washington Township. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, it was revealed that Mr. McBurney, who was involved in the accident, had a suspended driver’s license and an active warrant for his arrest. He was processed, issued a motor vehicle summons for driving with a suspended driver’s license and released with a mandatory court date.

11/10/16 WTPD arrested David Konecnik, age 50, of Oxford, NJ for simple assault. He was processed and released with a mandatory court date.
