Felon in Possession of a Firearm Arrest 
(Etowah County, Alabama) An Altoona man was arrested in connection to illegally possessing a firearm, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
"Charles Adam Snead, 30, of Altoona, was arrested and is charged with certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm, which is a felony,” Lieutenant Robin Grant said.
While speaking with investigators at his residence, about a possible theft case, investigators observed a shotgun inside the home. Snead claimed the weapon as his and admitted to the violation of possessing the firearm. He is a convicted felon and is forbidden by law to possess a gun.
Snead is currently being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on a $10,000 cash bond. He also is being held for a probation violation.
