It all started around 10:00 a.m. on October 19th at the Lomas Santa Fe Country Club located in the 1500 block of Lomas Santa Fe in Solana Beach. That's where someone broke into a car in the parking lot and stole three credit cards from the victim's purse.
A few hours later, a woman tried to buy about $1,200 worth of merchandise using the stolen credit cards at the Target store in the 3100 block of Business Park Drive in Vista. The transaction was declined. As you can see in the surveillance video, the woman covers her face as she walks out of the store.
The suspect is described as a white female, between 30 to 40 years old, standing 5'4" tall and weighing about 145 pounds. She has long, brown, curly hair. She was last seen wearing a brown sweater, dark green pants, black shoes and a brown purse with a white stripe along the bottom.
