UPDATE: 13-year-old Kelechi Lewis, reported missing Friday morning, returned home that evening and is OK. Thanks for your assistance.

Police are looking for 13-year-old Kelechi V. Lewis, who ran away from the area of 3600 E. Linwood about 9:30 a.m. today. Kelechi has autism but is high-functioning. He may be trying to get to Paseo Boulevard in an attempt to return home. He is new to the area and unfamiliar with it.

Kelechi Lewis is a black male who is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with khaki pants. If you know where he is, please call 911 or the KCPD Missing Persons Unit at 816-234-5136.
