Seasonal Related Ordinances: No Parking on Town Streets 12 AM-8 AM Nov. 1 thru April 1. Clear sidewalks and fire hydrants of snow/ice. 
Residents in the Town of Poughkeepsie are reminded of seasonal related ordinances in the town.
Town Ordinance 195-30a, prohibits vehicles from being parked on any street, road or highway in the Town of Poughkeepsie or a parking lot maintained by the town, between the hours of 12:00 a.m. – 8 a.m. from November 1st-April 1st.
Town Ordinance 174-2, reminds owners or occupants of homes to remove snow and ice from sidewalks within four hours after any snowfall occurring between 6:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. or within six hours thereafter.
Town Ordinance 174-5, reminds owner or occupant to remove snow from around a fire hydrant for a distance of two feet and between the sidewalk or the curb to keep the fire hydrant free from snow throughout the winter.
