There is a strong potential for a weather threat today, which is expected to begin around 4:00 PM and last through 10:00 PM. The storm will contain heavy downpours and lightening. There is also a chance for hail up to 1/2" in size.
Heavy winds with gusts between 40 and 60 MPH can be expected. Due to the strong wind gusts power outages may occur as a result of downed utility lines. Please prepare now and have flashlights handy, and charge your cell phones in advance of this storm.
