The victim of the homicide in El Cerrito is identified. 
The El Cerrito PD continues to investigate the homicide of a resident on October 27th at 8:53 PM.
Mr. James G. Gilliland Jr. was shot and killed in the 2600 block of Mira Vista Drive. He was an attorney.
The ECPD and the EC Community extend our condolences to the family for their tragic loss.
