El Monte Avenue is currently closed to through traffic from Duarte Road to Camino Real Avenue due to a police investigation. There is no threat to the surrounding area or schools. Please use alternate routes. The roadway will be closed through about 4:00 pm.
We have extended the road closure to approximately 4:00 pm. Please use Duarte Road, Campus Drive, Holly Avenue, and Santa Anita Avenue for access to Arcadia High School during student pick-up. Pedestrian access to El Monte Avenue is also restricted. If you normally pick-up a student on El Monte south of Duarte, please arrive early and meet them along Duarte Rd or make other arrangements.
