Dearborn, Mi. — The Dearborn Police Department is still asking for the public’s assistance in obtaining information regarding the murder of Raymond Mshahwar, a 33 years-old Canton resident. Persons with information can call the Dearborn Police Tip Line at 313-943-3030 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP. Additional contributions continue to be added to the reward amount and Crime Stoppers is now offering a $13,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the subject(s) involved in this crime. Anyone providing information can remain anonymous.

On Sunday October 16, 2016 at approximately 10:00pm, the Dearborn Police Department was dispatched to the area of Madison and Bennett on an accident where a vehicle crashed into several parked vehicles. Officers on scene determined the driver of the vehicle had been shot and sometime afterward crashed into the parked vehicles. The victim identified as Raymond Mshahwar, a 33 year-old Canton resident, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Dearborn Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with any information regarding this crime. Persons with information can call the Dearborn Police Tip Line at 313-943-3030 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP. Crime Stoppers is offering a $2500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the subject(s) involved in this crime. Anyone providing information can remain anonymous.
Chief Ronald Haddad stated “This is a tragic situation and our condolences go out the family of the victim. The Dearborn Police Department will use all available resources to apprehend the person(s) involved in this crime. We are urging the public to come forward with information regarding this crime.”
