Weather Alert: Due to the upcoming storm, the city is raising its alert level to Yellow. Based upon forecasts, we do not anticipate any significant problems. However, this is the first storm of the season and weather conditions can change quickly. Roads will be slick and we could get minor debris on the streets. The storm should arrive at 0300 hours on Friday (Thursday night) and last until about noon on Friday. The estimates for total rainfall for the San Gabriel Valley area range from .25 to over 1 inch of rain with periods of heavy rainfall. The storm will be much stronger up north but will weaken as it hits LA County. Please monitor your surroundings and check city sites for updates.
