Traffic Alert - Encinitas 
This is the San Diego County Sheriff's Department with a traffic alert on Monday, October 24th.
Be aware of increased law enforcement activity in the 1500 block of North Coast Highway 101 and Leucadia Boulevard in Encinitas.
Be advised North Coast Highway 101 is closed between La Costa Avenue and Jupiter Street. Expect heavy traffic in the area.
The North County Transit District says Coaster service is also affected between Poinsettia Lane and Encinitas Boulevard. Expect delays of up to two hours.
