Grand Jury Indicts 2 Pennsylvania Men on Multiple Hunterdon Burlaries http://bit.ly/2eCCK9g

<p>Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, and Chief of Detectives John J. Kuczynski, announced the indictments of William C. Meleschuck and Joseph T. Blose, both of Allentown, Pa., on October 21, 2016. A Hunterdon County Grand Jury returned a 26 count indictment against Mr. Meleschuck and 3 count indictment against Mr. Blose. The charges stemmed from residential burglaries in Alexandria, Union, Franklin and Clinton Township between November 2015 and February 2016. The investigations and arrests resulted from collaboration between the Hunterdon County Prosecutor&rsquo;s Office, New Jersey State Police, Pennsylvania State Police, Franklin Township Police Department and the Clinton Township Police Department.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to Prosecutor Kearns, &ldquo;Mr. Meleschuck was indicted on two counts of 2nd degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, one count of 2nd degree Certain Persons not to Possess Weapons, two counts of 2nd degree Burglary, six counts of 3rd degree Burglary, eight counts of 3rd degree Theft, six counts of 4th degree Criminal Mischief and one count of 3rd degree Conspiracy. Mr. Blose was indicted on one count of 3rd degree Burglary, one count of 3rd degree Theft and one count of 3rd degree Conspiracy. Mr. Meleschuck is currently being held in the Lehigh Valley County Jail in Pennsylvania.&rdquo;</p>

<p>Prosecutor Kearns added, &ldquo;I would like to commend the collaborative effort of the multiple agencies involved in the investigation that led to the arrests and indictments of Mr. Meleschuck and Mr. Blose.&rdquo; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>The filing of criminal charges is just a step in the criminal justice process. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a Court of law.</p>
