Attempted Kidnapping - Imperial Beach

Take a good look at this sketch of an attempted kidnapping suspect in Imperial Beach. Someone out there knows this person.

It happened just after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19th along 13th Street and Fern Avenue. That's where an 11-year-old child was riding a scooter when a newer model (2015-2016) Royal Blue, lifted Ford F250 pickup truck pulled over and stopped near the child.

The child says the truck's passenger, seen in this sketch, got out and tried to grab the child. However, the child was able to get away and ran to a nearby relative's home. The child was not hurt.

The child describes the suspect as a Caucasian man standing 5'11" tall, weighing 180 ponds with salt and pepper hair slicked back and a salt and pepper mustache. The man also has several tattoos, including an eyeball on his forehead and a skull on his neck.

If you recognize the man in this sketch, call the Sheriff's Department at (858) 974-5200.
