<p>The Shippensburg Borough Authority is currently performing flushing of water lines in certain areas for routine maintenance throughout the water service area.&nbsp; Water line flushing will continue over the next several days or longer as needed.&nbsp; Flushing of the hydrants expels any deposits that may build up on the water lines.&nbsp; In some instances, customers may notice a slight discoloration of their water, which is normal during flushing operations and presents no danger to users.&nbsp; If you notice discoloration,&nbsp;open your water faucet for several&nbsp;seconds until it is&nbsp;clear.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>
