<p>10/11 - 3:35 a.m. - Police received a call for a subject attempting to force his way into a residence, on South Jackson. Upon police arrival the subject was gone. The homeowner and other individuals in the residence knew the identity of the suspect. The suspect kicked and damaged a window. The suspect had been told repeatedly to leave the property by the homeowner. While the officer was taking the report, the suspect returned to the scene. When the officer confronted him, the suspect fled on foot but was quickly apprehended. Ryan R. Helfrich, 20 of Millstadt, was charged with Criminal Damage to Property & Criminal Trespass to Real Property.</p>
