HVPD Supports "National Night Out" Tuesday, October 4th
National Night Out this year will be observed on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. That evening residents are encouraged to get out and meet with their neighbors.
Good neighbors looking out for each other is a proven crime prevention strategy. HV Police Officers and Auxiliary will be out that evening and available to stop by on request at any neighborhood gathering or block party to partner and promote crime awareness, safety, and neighborhood unity.
Organizing a Block Party is Easy to Do!
•Get together and decide on a yard or place! One or two families can plan.
•Send out a flyer/email/poster to your neighbors!
•Register your party with HVPD, we can visit!
•Bring snacks, drinks, hot dogs or just yourselves!
•Get to know your neighbors and have a BLAST!
