Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a man and a woman that occurred on Thursday, September 29, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. in the 100blk of Avenida Grulla, Walnut.

Homicide detectives learned Walnut Station deputies were dispatched to the location in response to a family disturbance call.  Based on the information given in the call an LASD special weapons team also responded.

When the special weapons team made entry into the location they discovered a man and a woman deceased in the home.  A firearm was recovered at the scene and after the initial investigation, it was determined that a possible murder/suicide had occurred.

The victim was identified as 50-year-old, Guizhi Zhang, wife of the suspect, who was identified as 68-year-old, Yusheng Zhuang.

There are no additional suspects involved.

The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information.

NARRATIVE:

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to the 100 block of Avenida Grulla, Walnut, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult and female adult.

The victims was pronounced dead at the scene.                                 

There is no additional information available at this time and the investigation is on-going.
