***COUNTERFEIT MONEY ALERT***
The Sun Prairie Police Department has taken numerous reports recently of counterfeit bills being passed, specifically in $20 and $100 denominations. The $20 bills state "Motion Picture Use Only" on the back. The $100 bills appear much darker than normal and lack security features including watermarks and security strip; however, they do pass the pen test at registers. It's important for all local businesses to be aware of these incidents and to know your money.
