September 13th

Stolen Vehicle-7500 Block of Terrace Drive:
An officer reported the theft of a 2002 GMC Yukon. The theft occurred in between 1930 hours on the 12th and 0840 hours on the 13th.

Warrant Arrest-11565 San Pablo Avenue:
An officer conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 34 year old male for an outstanding warrant. The male was released on a citation.

Attempted Residential Burglary - 3100 block of Carlson Blvd:
Between 9/12/16 at 1600 hours and 9/13/16 at 1800 hours, an unknown suspect attempted to enter the residence via a back door but was unsuccessful.

Shoplifting - 10794 San Pablo Ave:
At 1922 hours, an officer accepted the citizen's arrest of a 28-year-old Oakland woman after she entered the business, concealed a pair of jeans and attempted to leave the store without paying.The woman was booked at the El Cerrito Police Department and released.

Driving under the influence - 1120 Arlington Blvd (Arlington Park):
At 1949 hours, an officer was dispatched to a vehicle stuck in the grass at the park. The officer located the driver, a 46-year-old Richmond woman in her vehicle. The woman was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol and arrested. The woman was booked at the El Cerrito Police Department and released to a sober friend.

Runaway juvenile - 2000 block of Mira Vista Dr:
At 2035 hours, an officer reports that a 13-year-old El Cerrito boy failed to return home after school. At 0427 hours, the boy returned home and stated he was hanging out at the park with friends

Possession of a controlled substance, Resisting arrest, Probation violation - 5600 block of Central Ave:
At 0059 hours, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 48-year-old transient male for possession of methamphetamine. During the contact, the man attempted to flee from officers but was quickly apprehended. The man violated the terms of his probation by possession a controlled substance. The man was booked at the El Cerrito Police Department and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

September 14th

Petty Theft/Warrant Arrest-1000 El Cerrito Plaza:
An officer accepted the citizen's arrest of a 27 year old male resident of Richmond. The male left Lucky with unpaid merchandise and was followed by a store employee who flagged down officers. During the investigation officers discovered the male had an outstanding warrant. The male was released on a citation in the field.

Criminal Threats/Battery-10300 Block of San Pablo Avenue:
Officers responded to the area on a report of a male assaulting a female. Upon arrival officers detained a 32 year old male after he was identified as the responsible. The victim advised she was walking northbound on San Pablo Avenue when the male walked up to her and grabbed her neck began yelling he was going to kill her. The male was placed under citizen's arrest and transported to the El Cerrito Police station for booking. After booking, the male was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Forgery, Possession - Cutting Blvd. / San Pablo Ave:
At 2200 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop and arrested the passenger; a 30-year-old Vallejo woman for possessing a fraudulent driver license with her photo and another woman's identifying information. The woman was also in possession of several credit cards in another woman's name. The woman was booked and released.

Warrant arrest - Central Ave. / San Luis Ave:
At 2210, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 36-year-old San Francisco man for an outstanding warrant. The man was booked at the El Cerrito Police Department and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

September 15th

Warrant Arrest-10900 San Pablo Ave:
At 1015 hours, a 28-year-old male resident of Vacaville turned himself in for an outstanding Santa Clara County warrant. He was issued a citation and released.

Possession of a Controlled Substance - 5920 Cutting Boulevard:
At 1038 hours, a 28 year old male resident of Vallejo called and advised he was having a panic attack and hallucinating. During the contact, an officer located suspected methamphetamine in the male's possession. The male was released on a citation.

Domestic battery, Kidnapping, False imprisonment, Resisting arrest with injury - 11645 San Pablo Ave:
At 1830 hours, an officer witnessed two females fighting in the parking lot of the Freeway Motel. The officer pulled into the parking lot and saw that the pair was going into a motel room. The officer entered the room and saw a 30-year-old Pinole woman on top of the other woman, punching and choking her. The officer broke up the fight and arrested the woman. The investigation revealed that the woman attempted to prevent the victim from leaving the room by punching, kicking, and choking her. When the victim got free of the room, the woman forcefully dragged her back into the room and proceeded to assault her. When officers returned to the police department, the woman kicked an officer twice and kneed him in the groin. The woman was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
