<p>9/15 &ndash; Shortly after midnight an officer was advised of a suspicious person looking into a parked vehicle behind the Dollar General.&nbsp; When the officer arrived the suspect fled on foot.&nbsp; The officer last saw him running behind Blackburn Manor.&nbsp; The Smithton &amp; Freeburg Police Department&rsquo;s arrived to assist.&nbsp; The Freeburg K9 tracked the suspect to the front door of a residence on Blackburn Manor, and fresh wet footprints also led to the residence.&nbsp; The occupant allowed the officers to search the residence, but no one else was found.&nbsp;</p>
