Police Blotter September 9th to September 12th

September 9th

Auto Burglary - 180 EC Plaza:
At 1134 hours, an officer responded to the report of an auto burglary. An unidentified suspect broke the window of a vehicle and stole property in between 0845 hours and 1130 hours.

Stolen Vehicle - 900 block of Kearney Street:
At 1931 hours, an officer reported an unknown suspect stole victim's Ford Explorer, which he last parked in front of his residence. The timeframe of the crime was between 9/8/16, 2200 hours and 9/9/16, 0945 hours.

Warrant Arrest - Scott Street/Schmidt Lane:
At 0258 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop and arrested a 49 year old male from Vallejo for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. He was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

September 10th

Identity Theft, Warrants and Theft - 1600 Arlington Blvd:
At 1048 hours, an officer contacted a subject in a tan Nissan Maxima who appeared to be asleep. The subject, a 36 year old San Leandro male provided a false name but was recognized by the officer due to previous contacts. He was wanted on two warrants. He was also identified as the package thief depicted in the video from a previous case at 2600 Arlington Blvd. He was found on possession of freshly stolen mail from the neighborhood and forged checks, credit cards and mail in other peoples names from Petaluma to Tracy. He was booked and transported to the Contra Costa County Detention facility.

Warrant Arrest - Carlson Blvd. / San Jose Ave:
At 1200 hours, an officer spotted a subject he knew who has a warrant. The subject a 49 year old El Cerrito man was issued a citation for the warrant and released.

Drug Paraphernalia /Delaying an Officer - Seaview Dr. / Moeser Lane:
At 1320 hours officer contacted a 22 year old Richmond woman. She was found to have a pipe used to smoke methamphetamine on her person. She was taken into custody and immediately started throwing a fit. She stomped her feet, threw herself onto the ground and refused to get up. She was finally placed into the rear of a patrol vehicle. She was booked and transported to the MDF.

Robbery - 10740 San Pablo Avenue:
At 1529 hours, officers responded to the report of a fight at Donut Time. A crowd of customers, along with the owner tried to stop a suspect who attempted to steal the tip jar. When he was confronted he attempted to intimidate the employees. He fled to a vehicle as officers arrived and was detained on Kearney St. The subject, a 23 year old San Pablo man was arrested, booked and transported to the MDF.

Warrant Arrest - San Pablo Avenue/Carlson Blvd:
At 2217 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop and arrested a 39 year old male from SoCal for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. He was cited and released.

DUI - Carlson Blvd./Central Ave:
At 0145 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 23 year old male out of Richmond for DUI. He blew a .13% BAC and he was cited and released.

September 11th

Stolen Vehicle - 1500 Lexington Ave:
At 0750 hours, an officer responded to the report of the theft of a silver 2013 Honda Civic in between 0100 and 0530 hours.

Stolen Vehicle - 7300 block of Cutting Blvd:
At 1026 hours, an officer responded to the report of the theft of a white 2016 Toyota Camry in between 0200-0800 hours.

Robbery - 11450 San Pablo Ave:
At 1641 hours, an officer responded to the report of a theft at Safeway. Two subjects entered the store and selected an estimated $500 in personal care products. The store recognized (S-1) as he comes in just about every other day to steal. (S-1) was described as a black male, approximately 50 years old, wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses and described as heavyset. He was driving a motorized wheel chair. (S-2) was described as a black male, approximately 20 years old, wearing a white shirt, and standing approximately 6'3" with a lanky build. When confronted about shoplifting, the pair used force against the store employee's to steal the property.

Warrant Arrest - 1600 block of Liberty St:
At 1719 hours, officers responded to the report of a transient setting up camp in a resident's yard and urinating in public. The subject, a 62 year old Fresno man was determined to be a parolee at large. He was arrested, booked and transported to the Contra Costa County Detention facility.

September 12th

Warrant Arrest - 670 El Cerrito Plaza:
At 2345 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver45 year old male from El Cerrito for two outstanding warrants. The man was booked and transported to MDF.

Drunk in Public - 670 El Cerrito Plaza:
While dealing with the above listed traffic stop, a 60 year old transient male walked through the traffic stop yelling obscenities. The male was extremely intoxicated and was advised by officers to move on. He continued to yell at officers and walked into traffic and was nearly struck by a vehicle. The man was taken into custody and transported to the County Jail in Martinez.

Warrant Arrest - 11450 San Pablo Ave:
At 0050 hours, an officer responded to Safeway for a report of an intoxicated male. The 30 year old Vallejo man was found to have two outstanding warrants from Vallejo. The man was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
