Accused: Natko Petrisic, Age 23, Long Branch, NJ and Jason Dijols, Age 22, Manalapan, NJ
NARRATIVE:
On September 10, 2016 at approximately 2:40am, Ptl Christopher Mirrione was on routine patrol in the Borough of Deal. Ptl Mirrione attempted to make a motor vehicle stop in the area of Brighton and Norwood Ave when both occupants of the grey BMW stopped the car and immediately fled on foot. Ptl Mirrione, Sgt Sharin and Ptl Kerney were able to quickly apprehend the accused following a brief foot pursuit. The accused were located in the rear of a residence on Brighton Ave hiding in a brook. The vehicle they were operating has been seized by this agency pending further investigation.
Natko Petrisic was charged with obstruction, trespassing and resisting arrest. He was committed to Monmouth County Jail after being unable to post $7,500 bail. Jason Dijols was charged with driving while intoxicated, careless driving, reckless driving, disregard of a stop sign, failure to signal, speeding, obstruction, trespassing and resisting arrest. He was also committed to Monmouth County Jail after being unable to post $7,500.00 bail.
