09/01/16 WTPD arrested Nelson Penafielr, age 25, of Bellville, NJ for a local ordinance of operating an overweight vehicle. On 09/01/16 at approximately 2:35 PM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on Mt. Pisgah Ave in Oxford Township.  At that time, the officer discovered that the vehicle was overweight and the driver, Mr. Penafiel, was issued a local ordinance for operating an overweight vehicle and released him with a mandatory court date.

09/01/16 WTPD arrested Tyler Reid, age 24, of Washington, NJ for being an NCIC wanted person out of the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, a $1500.00 outstanding warrant out of Chester Borough, for possession of CDS (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia.  On 09/01/16 at approximately 9:11 PM, patrol observed Mr. Reid, who was known to have an outstanding warrant exiting the Shop-Rite, 2 Clubhouse Dr, in Washington Township. The officer confirmed the warrants and took Mr. Reid into custody without incident. At that time, Mr. Reid was found to be in possession of CDS and paraphernalia. Mr. Reid was processed and charged with the CDS and paraphernalia and lodged in the WC Jail.

09/04/16 WTPD arrested Spring Ostoyic, age 27, of Washington, NJ for aggravated assault on law enforcement, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance.  On 09/04/16 at approximately 1:33 AM, patrol was approached by a female walking in the road and yelling profanities at an officer while he was observing traffic on W. Washington Ave, in Washington Borough. The officer made contact with Ms. Ostoyic who was belligerent, resisted arrest and spit at the officer. Ms. Ostoyic was processed and charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. Upon Ms. Ostoyic’s release, she punched and shoved an officer.  Ms. Ostoyic was again taken into custody and charged with another count of disorderly conduct and aggravated assault on law enforcement. Ms. Ostoyic was logged in WC Jail in lieu of $2,500.00 bail.

09/04/16 WTPD arrested Craig Harrow, age 40, of Washington, NJ for a $300.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough. On 09/04/16 at approximately 7:51 PM, patrolobserved Mr. Harrow, who was known to have an outstanding warrant, exit Shop Rite, 2 Clubhouse Dr., in Washington Township. The officer made contact with Mr. Harrow, confirmed the active warrant and took him into custody without incident. He was processed and released with a new court date.

09/05/16 WTPD arrested Jason Knutson, age 48, of Washington, NJ for aggravated assault on law enforcement, resisting arrest, obstruction of the administration of law, disorderly conduct and for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance.  On 09/05/16 at approximately 9:07 PM, patrol responded to Philbert’s Pub, 101 W. Washington Ave, in Washington Borough for an intoxicated patron. Upon the officer’s arrival, contact was made with Mr. Knutson, who became belligerent and shoved the officers. After processing Mr. Knutson became combative while he was being prepared for transport he fought with officers. Mr. Knutson was charged with (2) counts of aggravated assault on law enforcement, resisting arrest, (2) counts obstruction of the administration of law, disorderly conduct and for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. He was lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of $7,500.00.

09/05/16 WTPD arrested Francis Conklin IV, age 25, of Great Meadows, NJ for being an NCIC wanted person out of the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance and outstanding warrants totaling $910.00 out ofRunnemede and Knowlton,   On 09/05/16 at approximately 12:01 AM, patrol responded to a report of a disturbance in front t of Philbert’s Pub, 101 W. Washington Ave, in Washington Borough. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, it was revealed that Mr. Conklin was an NCIC wanted person with (2) other active warrant’s for his arrest. He was taken into custody without incident, processed and charged with a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance and turned over to the Warren County Sherriff’s Department.

09/05/16 WTPD arrested Erin Miczulski, age 36, of Oxford, NJ for simple assault. Ms. Miczulski was processed and released after posting bail.

09/05/16 WTPD arrested Salvatore Sember, 49, of Oxford, NJ for with possession of (CDS) marijuana less than 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. On 09/05/16 at approximately 6:24 PM, patrol responded to a reported disturbance in the 30 block of Chestnut St. in Oxford Township. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Mr. Sember was charged with possession of (CDS) marijuana less than 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

09/05/16 WTPD arrested Ronald Westhoven, age 54, of Glen Gardner, NJ for disorderly conduct, a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance and a $1000.00 warrant out of Rockaway Township.  On 09/05/16 at approximately 7:35 PM, patrol responded to Shop-Rite, 2 Clubhouse Dr., in Washington Township, for a male causing a disturbance and picking fights with customers. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, the officer took Mr. Westhoven into custody without incident and his warrant was discovered. Mr. Westhoven was processed, charged with disorderly conduct, a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance and turned over to Rockaway Township PD.

09/05/16 WTPD arrested Sean Wosatka, age 37, of Washington, NJ for a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of Hopewell Township. On 09/05/16 at approximately 10:11 PM, patrol observed Mr. Wosatka improperly cross Rte. 57 E. in Washington Borough. The officer made contact with Mr. Wosatka and discovered the active warrant. He was taken into custody without incident, processed and released with a new court date.

09/06/16 WTPD arrested Robert Hiza, age 57, of Woodbridge, NJ for eluding and driving while intoxicated (DWI).  On 09/06/16 at approximately 5:15 PM, patrol responded to the report of an erratic motor vehicle traveling east bound on W. Washington Ave and Lincoln Ave in Washington Borough. Upon the officer’s arrival in the area, he located the vehicle and attempted to initiate a motor vehicle stop. The vehicle refused to stop and eluded police until being stopped on Rte. 57 in Mansfield Township. The driver, Mr. Hiza, was taken into custody without further incident.  Mr. Hiza was processed and charged with eluding and driving while intoxicated (DWI). Mr Hiza was also issued motor vehicle summonses for reckless driving, careless driving, disregard of marked lanes, failure to keep right and speeding.  Mr. Hiza’s BAC was .22%. He was lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of $25,000.00 bail.

09/06/16 WTPD arrested Samantha Sepkowski, age 19, of Asbury, NJ for driving while intoxicated (DWI) and under age driving while intoxicated.  On Tuesday 09/06/16 at 8:34 PM, officers were dispatched to a roll over motor vehicle accident on Taylor St. in Washington Borough. A preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicle was traveling north bound on Taylor St. when it struck a parked vehicle and overturned. Ms. Sepkowski, who was uninjured, was taken into custody, processed and charged with DWI, under age DWI and issued a motor vehicle summons for careless driving. She was released with a mandatory court appearance.
