<p>Please be aware that all private and public schools in the City of Summit will be in session for the first time this school year. The Summit Police Department will be visible at all of the schools. Please talk with your children and advise them to cross only at crosswalks with traffic lights or crossing guards. Please be aware of your surroundings while walking to and from school.<br />
Parents that are driving their children to school please do not drop your children off on the opposite side of the school and have them cross the street without a crossing guard. All areas that are not designated as parking or &quot;drop off &quot; areas should not be utilized for the safety of our children. Let us have a safe and productive school year.</p>
