On day 3 of Nocturnal Wonderland 25,762 people attended and 141 arrests were made

LOCATION: San Manuel Ampitheater- 2575 Glen Helen Parkway, San Bernardino


SUMMARY: Day 3 of Nocturnal Wonderland involved the load in of campers and the opening of the festival area to patrons. 63 vehicles entered the camping area with a total of 252 occupants. 25,762 people attended the festival. Uniformed, and undercover law enforcment officers were deployed, along with K-9's.

Prior to entering the camping area, participants were searched for security purposes. The process for attendees included being searched, the examination of a valid identification, confirmation of tickets for the event, and being photographed. This process is designed to make the experience safer for the attendees. During this process no arrests were made.

At about 4:00 pm the gates opened for the festival. As patrons entered they were searched and their age was confirmed with a valid form of identification.

During this process 141 people were arrested for various violations as they attempted to enter the festival area. Some of the arrests included; possession of drugs, drug sales, under the influence of drugs and or alcohol, assault and battery, resisting arrest, and one arrest for indecent exposure.

One attendee was transported to the hospital for trauma to his face from an assault.

Additional law enforcement officers, paid by Insomniac, are assigned to patrol the Devore and Rosena Ranch area. Measures are in place to minimize the amount of concert traffic driving through these neighborhoods.

There were two reports of loud music from the Crestline area. A deputy with a sound engineer responded to the location and found the noise level was within the county noise ordanance.

Remote security cameras and Automated License Plate Readers (ALPR’s) are deployed in the area as an extra measure of security.
