The NWS has issued a Flashflood Warning for Jackson County from now until 1215

THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM CDT FOR
JOHNSON AND JACKSON COUNTIES...

AT 928 PM CDT...EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTED HEAVY RAIN AND SIGNIFICANT FLASH FLOODING IN THE DOWNTOWN KANSAS CITY AREA. UP TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN AND ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN IS
EXPECTED THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. DANGEROUS FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE... KANSAS CITY... OVERLAND PARK... OLATHE... INDEPENDENCE... LEE`S SUMMIT... SHAWNEE... BLUE SPRINGS... LENEXA...LEAWOOD...RAYTOWN...GRANDVIEW...
PRAIRIE VILLAGE...GARDNER...GRAIN VALLEY... MERRIAM... MISSION... OAK GROVE... BONNER SPRINGS...DE SOTO AND SPRING HILL.
