Due to an overnight incident where a cement hopper truck sustained damage to a lower valve, traffic may be delayed in certain areas. When this damage happened, it caused the trailer to dump a large amount of cement powder onto several roadways, including State Highway 78 (Northbound), Williford, Coral, and Sable Lanes. Currently the truck is stopped on Sable Lane between Williford, and State Highway 78. Due to the powder being dumped on the roadway, when traffic drives through it, it will create a large cloud of dust. Crews have been called to assist in cleanup of the areas, and those crews who have arrived are already beginning cleanup. The truck will remain in place until their company can come fix the hopper and halt the leaking. Please avoid Coral and Sable Lanes until this is done.
