August 16th

Armed Robbery (Knife) - Kearney Ave/Cutting Blvd:
An Officer reported at 0515 hours, the victim was walking through the Mayfair lot when she was approached by a suspect. The suspect brandished a knife and demanded the victim give up her purse. When she refused, S pushed her to the ground causing her to hit her head on the sidewalk. S then punched the victim in the back of the head several times before taking the victim’s purse. S was last seen running north towards 11720 San Pablo Ave. The 68 year old female was transported to Kaiser in Richmond. The suspect was described as being a Filipino male, 20-25 years old, wearing a red shirt, dark jacket and khaki pants.

August 17th

Warrant Arrest - 11555 San Pablo Ave:
At 1050 hours, An Officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 21 year old woman from Sacramento for an outstanding warrant. She was transported to the El Cerrito Police Department for booking then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Motor Vehicle Theft - 500 Block of Lexington
An Officer reported an unknown suspect stole the victim’s rented Budget truck on 8/17 between 0300-0800 hours. The truck was a white 2014 Ford E-350 (2TW052 OK). The vehicle was later recovered in Oakland.
