Two bear sightings were reported in the township today. These sightings have not been substantiated, but South Brunswick Police have also received reports of bear sightings in their municipality today. If you see a bear in your neighborhood and there is no immediate danger call the police non - emergency number 732-545-3200 to report your sighting. Call 911 if there is a life threatening danger of an attack of a human or another animal.

Never feed or approach a bear.
Never get between an adult bear and cubs.
Do not leave food or garbage unsecured in your yard.
