AC Electric SCAM ALERT A recording says your bill is overdue & will be shut off in attempt to gain credit card info DO NOT GIVE CC INFO! 
Residents of Long Beach Township, we received a complaint regarding a scam via phone. The caller states that they are with AC Electric ant the account is overdue and will be shut off.
The number on the caller ID is (844) 271-8421, the automated voice options sound authentic.
The caller advises your account is past due and to avoid having your service shut off, attempts to collect credit card information for payment. This is a FRAUD do not give out any personal and or financial. information over the phone. if you have an account they should be able to look up your info in their system.
Please report similar instances to AC Electric and your local Police Department.
