This afternoon the Deal lifeguards saved 12 people from a dangerous rip current in front of the Stanley Conover Pavillion and the Deal Casino. This was a fast moving current that quickly overwhelmed swimmers both young and old. Had it not been for the swift actions of our highly trained guards the outcome could have been much worse. This serves as a reminder to always swim near a lifeguard. Great job and we hope everyone has a safe summer!
