Full Notification

The large plume of smoke east of Cambria is from the Chimney Fire. This fire is located near Nacimiento Lake and is currently burning on the ridge toward Rocky Butte. Firefighters are holding the fire and it is NOT a threat to the community of Cambria at this time. The fire is not expected to ever become a threat to Cambria. Residents will be notified immediately through Reverse 911/NIXLE, the media, and door to door if this changes.
