The fire is currently 25,626 acres, 4% containment with 1584 personnel on scene. 178 engines, 26 crews, 10 air tankers, 2 Very Large Air Tankers (VLATS), and 17 Helicopters, including night flying helicopters. Additional firefighters and equipment have been ordered and will be responding directly to the fire.
An unknown number of structures are damaged and destroyed.

SCAQMD has issued a Smoke Advisory for portions of San Bernardino County.
MANDATORY EVACUATIONS AREAS:
The entire community of Wrightwood
Wrightwood from San Bernardino County Line to Jackson Lake
West of I-15, and West of Hwy 395 and west of Summit Valley
South of Bear Valley Rd. and East of Caughlin Road.
East of Sheep Creek, south of Phelan Rd. and west of Green Road, including the Desert Front Rd. area.

Sheriff’s Personnel: 100 support personnel

Volunteers: 40 – Citizen volunteers assigned to command post duties and Posse members assisting with animal evacuations

Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department assisting with evacuations in Wrightwood area

Inmate Fire Crews: 10 members of the Inmate Fire Crew are actively cutting fire breaks; additional crew to respond later today

Transportation Division/Courts: Due to the full closure on the I-15, Sheriff’s transportation buses are unable to transport inmates to the high desert courts. Those dates will be rescheduled.
