July 29th

Disorderly Conduct - Kearney St. / Wall Ave:
At 1019 hours, an officer contacted a 45 year old male in Baxter Creek Park. He was found to be intoxicated, arrested and booked.
Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misappropriation of Found Property, Fraud, Parole

Violation – Potrero Ave / S. 55th St:
At 2058 hours, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 33 year old man from San Francisco after he was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance, in possession of syringes, an access card belonging to another person, and a fraudulent $100 bill. The man was also on parole and his parole was violated. He was booked at ECPD and cited on the new charges and transported to Martinez Detention Facility on the parole hold.

DUI – Cutting Blvd / S. 50th St:
At 2156 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 70 year old man from Oakland for DUI. He was booked at the ECPD and released on a citation.

DUI – 670 El Cerrito Plaza (CVS):
At 0155 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the 24 year old female driver from Richmond for DUI. She was booked at ECPD and released on a citation.

July 30th

Possession of Stolen Property- 11755 San Pablo Avenue:
At 1419 hours, officers responded to the report of a suspicious person at the Honda of El Cerrito. The subject, a 65 year old transient male was found to be in stolen items. He was released on a citation.

Warrant – San Pablo Ave / Barrett Ave:
At 1924 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 36 year old Richmond man on a no bail Alameda County Warrant. He was booked at the ECPD and then transported to Martinez Detention Facility.
 
Shoplift – Safeway, 11450 San Pablo Ave:
At 2223 hours, an officer responded to Safeway and accepted the citizen’s arrest of 39 year old Richmond woman after she stole merchandise. She was booked at the ECPD and then released on citation.

Warrant – Central Ave / Jacuzzi St:
At 0458 hours, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 47 year old Berkeley man on a no bail Contra Costa County Warrant. He was booked at ECPD and then taken to County jail.

July 31st

Warrant / Methamphetamine Possession - San Pablo Ave./ Blake St:
At 1535 hours, bike patrol officers located a 48 year old man wanted on an ECPD warrant. He was arrested and found to be in possession of methamphetamines. He was booked and released on a citation.

Shoplifter / Warrant - 670 EC Plaza (CVS):
At 1630 hours, officers responded to the report of a theft of cosmetics at CVS. The suspect was located at the EC Plaza BART station. The suspect, a 30 year old San Francisco man was placed under citizen’s arrest. He was also found to have two warrants for his arrest.

Felonious Assault on an Officer, Parole Violation – Jack in the Box, 5920 Cutting Blvd:
At 1839 hours, officers responded to an unwanted subject at Jack in the Box and contacted a 27 year old man from San Pablo who was on parole. The man was agitated, talking to the sky, and appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance, hallucinating, and/or suffering from a psychiatric episode. It was determined the man needed to be committed for a mental health evaluation and given his agitated and aggressive state he should be detained in handcuffs while they waited for the ambulance for everyone’s safety. The man physically resisted and then struck officers. One officer sustained a laceration and contusion to the head and a second sustained a laceration to the face under his nose. The man was secured in handcuffs after a physical struggle. He was transported to county hospital for a medical exam before being booked into Martinez Detention Facility on felonious assault on an officer charges and a parole violation
 
August 1st

Residential Burglary – 5400 block of Hillside Ave:
At 1130 hours, an officer responded to the report of a burglary. Between 07-25-16 at 1000 hours and 07-30-2016 at 1500 hours, an unidentified entered a house/garage and stole tools.

Possession of Controlled Substance - San Diego St / Yosemite Ave:
At 1351 hours, an officer arrested a 35 year old Richmond man who was reported as turning on garden hoses in the area. The man was found to be in possession of a small quantity of methamphetamines. He was booked and released on a citation.

Disorderly Conduct - Moeser Ln./ Pomona Ave:
At 1354 hours, an officer arrested a 45 year old woman who was previously reported as drinking beer in the area. She was found to be heavily intoxicated. She was transported to the MDF.

Warrant – I-80 at Solano Ave:
At 0200 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 29 year old man from Riverside on an LA County warrant. He was booked at the ECPD and then transported to County Jail.
