A weather event in the Gulf of Mexico could potentially create a large amount of rain fall and flash flooding. Be sure to keep up to date with local news medias. The City of New Port Richey is offering Sand and Sandbags this weekend Saturday-Sunday at 6420 Pine Hill Road between hours of 8AM-5PM. After hours you will be able to get them at our Fire Station #1 located at 6333 Madison St. Be sure to bring your own shovel.

In response to possible severe weather, the City of New Port Richey has sand and sandbags available:
• 6420 Pine Hill Road Friday-Sunday - 7:00am to 5:00pm
• Fire Station #1 – 6333 Madison Street after 5:00PM

Residents must bring their own shovels and are limited to 20 sandbags per household.

Pasco County Government will open sand bag operations starting Saturday, June 4, 2016. The following locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. until further notice:
• West Pasco Government Center, 7356 State Street, New Port Richey (self-serve)
• J.W. Mitchell Park, 4025 Little Road, New Port Richey (self-serve)• Veterans Memorial Park, 14333 Hicks Road, Hudson (self-serve)
• C-Barn, 30906 Warder Road, San Antonio (self-serve)• Land O’Lakes Rec Center, 3032 Collier Parkway, Land O’Lakes (self-serve)
• Fire Station #2, 6907 Dairy Road, Zephyrhills (self-serve)
