Attempted Burglary in the area of Park Street/North Mesier. Residents are reminded to lock doors and set alarms. 
Village residents are being advised of a reported attempted residential burglary which occurred in the area of Park Street and North Mesier in the Village of Wappingers. Forced entry was attempted by an unknown person from the rear back sliding door of the residence. Residents throughout the Village are reminded to lock their doors and to set your home security alarms if equipped. If anyone sees any suspicious activity or anything out of the ordinary please call 845-297-1011 or 911.
