Advisory

Glendora Ave. S. of Meda, partial street closure toay @ 3:30 p.m. in prep for Glendora PD Na. Night Out event, all invited, 5:30-8:30 pm

As a reminder, a portion of Glendora Avenue, south of Meda will close at 3:30 p.m. today August 2nd, in preparation for the Glendora Police Departments National Night Out Against Crime event.  The event takes place from 5:30-8:30 p.m.  Join us for a moment of silence at 5:30 for those Law Enforcement Officers who have recently lost their lives in the line of duty.  The NNO event will include a chance for kids K-6th grades to win a free backpack, enjoy free face-painting and child fingerprinting, find the burglar game, free hot dogs, Police Units on display, Pink Patch fundraiser, music, and much more!

We hope that you will come out and enjoy the evening that was created as a “going away party” for burglars. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live.
