Join us for NATIONAL NIGHT OUT tomorrow, 6PM-8PM, Target parking lot 12300 Seal Bch Bl, food and fun for the kids!

Seal Beach, CA. – On Tuesday, August 2nd , the City of Seal Beach will join the efforts of thousands of other communities across the country to promote safety, strengthen police-community partnerships, and rejuvenate community spirit by participating in the 33rd Annual “National Night Out”. National Night Out provides an opportunity for the Seal Beach Police Department, in conjunction with the Los Alamitos Police Department and the Cypress Police Department, and our community partners, to enhance crime prevention by promoting cooperative relationships and reinforcing the need for community involvement.

The corporate partner for National Night Out is “Target” and this year’s event will take place at the Old Ranch Town Center at 12300 Seal Beach Bl. in the northern parking lot. The event begins at 6:00 PM and will end at 9:00 PM. National Night Out is a designated evening when communities across America come together to take a stand against crime, drugs, and disorder in their neighborhoods. The Seal Beach Police Department will be partnering with members of the community to affirm our conviction against crime, and promote health, safety and personal preparedness.

Seal Beach Chief of Police, Joe Stilinovich quote:

“Heightened crime prevention awareness improves the quality of life for everyone. It is essential that citizens are aware of the importance of police-community partnerships in the identification of problems, and the impact those partnerships have on solving those problems”.

This will be a great event to get involved in your community and meet your neighbors! With an expected 3500 – 4000 attendees we are looking for clubs, associations, and local businesses who wish to promote their services and products to join in a night of information, interacting with public safety and fun! If you are interested in participating in this great event, please call Corporal Dave Barr (562) 799-4100, X-1145 or email him at [email protected].
