Central Detention Center personnel arrest subject attempting to climb the perimeter fence of the facility 
DATE/TIME: July 31, 2016 / 6:10 a.m.
INCIDENT: PC 602-Trespassing/Warrant Arrest
LOCATION: Central Detention Center, 630 E. Rialto Avenue, San Bernardino
SUSPECT: Shane James McDonald, 28 years old
SUMMARY:
On Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 6:10 a.m. Sergeant Emon observed Shane McDonald(a civilian who was not an incarcerated person at the time) scaling the perimeter fence of Central Detention Center. Personnel inside the jail were notified and McDonald was subsequently taken into custody without incident. McDonald also had an active warrant for his arrest. Video surveillance was reviewed for the incident and it was discovered McDonald had also made unauthorized entry into the county yard to the east of the jail.
McDonald was booked into Central Detention Center for PC 602 and a warrant in lieu of $25,000 bail.
