Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau investigators are Assisting Hermosa Beach Police Department with the investigation of an apparent murder/suicide that occurred on the 100 block of Herondo Street, Hermosa Beach at approximately 6:27 a.m., Thursday, July 28, 2016.

Investigators have learned that it appears to be a domestic murder/suicide where the female was shot by the male. Both were found deceased at the scene. A firearm was also recovered at the scene.

The identity of the individuals will be release at a later time pending next of kin notification.

The investigation is on-going. There is no further information at this time.

Unit:  Homicide Bureau – Lieutenant Rosson

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to the 100 block of Horondo Street in the city of Hermosa Beach, to assists Hermosa Beach Police Department with the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man and a woman.

The victims were pronounced dead at the scene.                                        

The investigation is on-going and there is no additional information available at this time.
