City of Albany Launches new Text Message Alert System 
Residents of Albany can now receive important, official information directly from the City of Albany through Nixle. Messages will be delivered by email, SMS text message, and over the web. Messages will include emergency alerts, advisories about items such as road closures and public safety incidents, and community information about various events in our community.
