Per Lower Valley, issue with major substation in SE Idaho causing loss of power for all of Lower Valley service area.

Per Lower Valley Energy, an issue with a major substation in southeastern Idaho is affecting all of Lower Valley Energy's service territory. Power outages and interruptions can be expected. It is unknown at this time what the issue is, but Lower Valley Energy has advised it will be at least several hours before power is restored. Updates to follow.
Use caution while driving as traffic lights may be offline. Residents may want to check on neighbors with medical issues/special needs. If there is an immediate threat to life due to loss of power to medical equipment, call 9-1-1. If you require life-sustaining medical equipment that will be impacted by an extended power outage, call Teton County Emergency Management at 307-733-9572 to register for assistance.
