Per Bridger-Teton National Forest - http://inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/4865/

The Cliff Creek fire is still burning on the Bridger-Teton National Forest near Bondurant, Wyoming. An area closure is expected to be in place today for much of the Forest north of Bondurant. It might include the Shoal Creek and Granite Creek drainages. Clark's Draw is expected to remain open.

Through the evening last night there was a few trees that were torching, or completely going up in flames, but for the most part, the burning activity slowed down with the cooler temperatures. Fire engines were in the Bondurant area providing structure protection through the evening.

Three helicopters will be supporting the firefighters today. 9 engines are on scene and working on the fire including resources from the Bridger-Teton National Forest, Grand Teton National Park and Sublette County Fire.

The fire danger remains at "High" for the Bridger-Teton. An updated acreage for the Cliff Creek fire will be available when it is safe for the aircraft to fly around the perimeter of the fire for a new map.

Per Teton County Public Health

Many residents may notice the air looks smoky today because the Cliff Creek fire continues to burn near Bondurant.  Smoke produced from wildfires is made up of a complex mixture of gases and fine particles produced when wood and other organic matter burn. These particles can cause burning eyes, runny nose, coughing, a scratchy throat, irritated sinuses and headaches.

Use common sense to protect your health. If it looks smoky outside, it’s probably not a good time to mow the lawn or go for a run. It’s probably also not a good time for children to play outside. When smoke is heavy, avoid prolonged or heavy exertion. Remain indoors. Keeps windows and doors closed, temperature permitting. Keep your indoor air as clean as possible. Avoid using gas stoves or candles indoors. Dust masks are ineffective against smoke. If you have asthma, lung or heart disease and your symptoms worsen, call your doctor.  Please visit http://www.tetonwyo.org/ph/topics/protect-yourself-from-wildfire-smoke/252443/ to get more information on the current visible ranges, health effects, and more wildfire resources for health from the Center for Disease Control.
